Stack Shop……almost

13 Apr

Me,Tanya and Walter

Here it is, the end of a two-year project, the Stacks Shop at The Steel Stacks, by ArtsQuest on the site of Bethlehem Steel, long intro, for a long project. True to most projects of this size and complexity the shop is not quite finished, the translucent panels that define the perimeter on not ready as yet, despite that the shop and the entire complex will be open for preview Wednesday and officially open Friday. Time to realize cashflow, the powers that be are getting anxious. My thanks to all my colleagues in this endeavor, Robert Perilstein from Visplay for the beautiful fixtures, Spillman-Farmer Architects for the amazing space, Walter Keiper for his trust in my ability to pull this off, Tanya Doddy for enduring my merchandising suggestions, M.Fried for display items and their patience with my rescheduling and last but hardly least, Kathy Gilchrist, the salesperson of record at M.Fried who moved mountains to make this happen, special thanks to you. Thank you for the acknowledgement.
It’s a wonderful feeling to see the fruition of this special project toward which you’ve dedicated your heart and soul.
It’s an amazing dream that has now become a reality.
I anxiously await your next retail vision.
